Deploy our industrial-grade teams for professional Tree Service in Hilltown, PA. From managing century-old hardwoods on expansive farmsteads to providing technical removals for residential developments near Route 113 and Route 152, we deliver the heavy equipment and arborist expertise required to secure your land. Our family-owned business specializes in the high-precision care of large-scale timber across Hilltown Township and Blooming Glen. Specifically, we understand local soil profiles, open-field wind exposure, and regional canopy stress, ensuring your trees remain a safe, resilient, and valuable asset to your property.
Hilltown’s geography, characterized by rolling farm fields, historic acreage in Blooming Glen, and dense tree lines buffering residential parcels off Route 113 and Route 152, presents distinct structural and environmental demands.
Wind Shear Mitigation Across Open Agricultural Lots
Trees bordering open fields and roadways in Hilltown experience intense wind exposure during summer thunderstorms and winter ice events. Legacy oaks, maples, and ash trees frequently develop co-dominant stems or heavy lateral weight distribution. Our ISA-guided arborists perform crown thinning and install heavy-duty dynamic cabling systems to stabilize structural limbs before high winds cause trunk failure.
Large-Scale Timber Extractions on Agricultural & Residential Land
Removing multi-ton hardwoods near barns, fencing, or homes without tearing up delicate farm soil requires high-capacity machinery. We utilize all-terrain mobile cranes to lift massive tree sections directly off hillsides and open fields, eliminating ground drag, protecting pastures, and preventing soil erosion across Hilltown Township.
Our Services
We offer a full spectrum of professional arborist solutions designed for large rural properties and suburban lots alike. Our crew stands ready for everything from routine canopy management to high-risk tree removals.

I had a clump of large trees that outgrew the space and were near the house. I called ATS and explained to them what I needed. David came out and we spoke about different options and equipment that would be used. He then emailed me several estimates detailing those options and allowed me to chose. I thought the pricing was very fair and I was able to approve the job online. Alex and his crew came a few days later and took down all 12 trees over a 2 day period. The crew was very organized and professional. They took great care not to damage any surrounding obstacles. When they were finished they cleaned everything up including all the small debris that fell in the yard. You couldn't even tell they were there with all the trucks and equipment. The final price was exactly what I was quoted and I am very happy with the service and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend using ATS Tree Service.Posted on Google![]()

This was an A++ experience! I called Adam (owner) around 1 pm to see if he could swing by to look at a tree that split and was leaning toward the house. He was at our house within 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and answered every single question we had, and then some! Once he gave us an idea if the cost of the project, we talked timeline to get it done. He said he could probably be back in a bit to get started. I figured in an hour or two. He left around 1:30 pm, sent the quote, and was back out our house by 2 pm with his truck and gear. He was up in the boom and started cutting by 2:15 pm. He was very clearly skilled and worked quickly two drop two trees. He worked until he finished exactly what we asked him to do. This was such an awesome experience and it was much more economically priced than I expected. I 100% recommend ATS to anyone who is looking to have tree work done. They are a local business doing right by the community! A++!!!Posted on Google![]()

Standard tree removal on private residential or agricultural property in Hilltown Township generally does not require a permit. However, if your land falls within a designated environmental overlay or steep-slope buffer, specific municipal guidelines may apply. We assist in verifying regulations prior to starting work.
We deploy low-ground-pressure machinery and lay down heavy-duty composite ground protection mats. This distributes equipment weight evenly, eliminating deep tire ruts and preventing soil compaction on delicate turf.
If the root plate and main trunk core are healthy, installing high-strength steel cabling systems and bracing rods can effectively stabilize the canopy. Combined with crown weight-reduction pruning, this greatly reduces failure risks during severe windstorms.
Our self-propelled stump grinders operate 6 to 12 inches below soil level, pulverizing the stump base and primary root flare. This allows you to easily re-turf, landscape, or use the area for farming or construction.
Based right in neighboring Perkasie, PA, our emergency team deploys 24/7 to clear trees fallen onto homes, barns, driveways, or utility lines across Hilltown Township and Upper Bucks County.
