Secure your property with professional Tree Service in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Navigating the rugged terrain and dense woodlands of the Upper Delaware Valley requires a crew with heavy-duty equipment and technical proficiency. From the cliffs of Bridgeton Township to the residential lots along River Road and the wooded hillsides near Ringing Rocks, we provide the arborist expertise needed to manage your timber. Our family-owned business specializes in the high-precision removal of hazardous trees in difficult locations. Specifically, we prioritize the safety of your home and infrastructure during every phase of our deployment.
Upper Black Eddy’s geographic profile—defined by steep elevation changes, rock-laden river soils, river bluffs, and dense forest canopies—demands heavy-duty machinery and expert rigging techniques.
All-Terrain Equipment for Steep Slopes & Rocky Soil
Properties along River Road and the cliffs of Bridgeton Township present sharp grades and rocky terrain where standard trucks risk slippage or turf damage. We deploy compact, rubber-tracked spider lifts and protective composite mats to access sloped work zones without disturbing fragile soil or hardscaping.
Precision Crane Operations Along River Corridors & Rooflines
With massive oaks, hemlocks, and maples on steep inclines leaning toward homes, outbuildings, and power lines, controlled removal is essential. Our certified arborists use high-capacity mobile cranes and mechanical lowering systems to lift heavy timber sections vertically, depositing them safely in clear drop zones.
Our Services
We offer a full spectrum of professional arborist solutions designed for rugged terrain, riverfront estates, and dense forest acreage. Our team is fully equipped for everything from routine canopy maintenance to high-stakes emergency extractions.

I had a clump of large trees that outgrew the space and were near the house. I called ATS and explained to them what I needed. David came out and we spoke about different options and equipment that would be used. He then emailed me several estimates detailing those options and allowed me to chose. I thought the pricing was very fair and I was able to approve the job online. Alex and his crew came a few days later and took down all 12 trees over a 2 day period. The crew was very organized and professional. They took great care not to damage any surrounding obstacles. When they were finished they cleaned everything up including all the small debris that fell in the yard. You couldn't even tell they were there with all the trucks and equipment. The final price was exactly what I was quoted and I am very happy with the service and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend using ATS Tree Service.Posted on Google![]()

This was an A++ experience! I called Adam (owner) around 1 pm to see if he could swing by to look at a tree that split and was leaning toward the house. He was at our house within 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and answered every single question we had, and then some! Once he gave us an idea if the cost of the project, we talked timeline to get it done. He said he could probably be back in a bit to get started. I figured in an hour or two. He left around 1:30 pm, sent the quote, and was back out our house by 2 pm with his truck and gear. He was up in the boom and started cutting by 2:15 pm. He was very clearly skilled and worked quickly two drop two trees. He worked until he finished exactly what we asked him to do. This was such an awesome experience and it was much more economically priced than I expected. I 100% recommend ATS to anyone who is looking to have tree work done. They are a local business doing right by the community! A++!!!Posted on Google![]()

Tree removals on private residential properties in Bridgeton or Nockamixon Townships generally do not require a permit. However, if the tree is located within a protected Delaware River riparian buffer or conservation easement, special rules may apply. We help verify local township requirements prior to work.
We deploy rubber-tracked spider lifts and all-terrain mobile cranes engineered for steep slopes. Individual limbs are secured with rigging systems and lifted vertically away without disturbing the slope or structures below.
No. We lay heavy polymer ground protection mats along access paths to distribute equipment weight evenly, protecting lawns, gravel drives, and asphalt from rutting or cracking.
Our self-propelled stump grinders operate 6 to 12 inches below ground level, removing the main stump core and surface roots so you can re-seed, pave, or plant over the area.
Our storm emergency crews operate 24/7. Stationed in nearby Bucks County, we dispatch rapidly to clear fallen timber from homes, driveways, and power lines across Upper Black Eddy and River Road corridors.
